Welcome
The Keystone Band is a cover band that was established by Jeff Claypool and Rich Murphy in October 2005. Our idea was to create an authentic Classic Rock & Roll band that plays music primarily from the 60's, 70's and 80's with the zeal and gusto you can only enjoy from people who lived and played the music when it was new and fresh.
Meet the members of 'The Keystone Band': Kinny Landrum, keyboard, worked with Carly Simon and Leonard Bernstein, toured with Robert Palmer, played keyboard on the hit recording, “Into The Night”, by Bennie Mardones and was nationally recognized for his work on the hit TV show “Twin Peaks” when it won a Grammy; Jeff Claypool, lead guitar, performed with Greg Allman, Pharaoh Saunders and Neil Slater; Russ Wilson, drums, former member of Future Tense, is currently collaborating with Dennis Dunaway of Alice Cooper. Russ also recently completed an eastcoast tour with Dunaway and Alice Cooper; Dan Kelley, lead singer, was a featured singer on I-95 radio; Rich Murphy, bass guitar, who recently stayed at a 'Holiday Inn', retired from a local police department to play in 'The Keystone Band'. Gary Fulton, sound engineer, toured with Rainbow and Chrissy Hynde and the Pretenders.
If you are a fan of Classic Rock music you are in for a special treat attending a Keystone Band performance. Be prepared for a concert experience and a night you'll remember!
